It is a good idea to find a good model. But I want to suggest a little edition for this sentence: “Each person must live their life as a model for others”.
Each person must find a perfect model and try to live as that model. Because we may not be a perfect model and if all people try to be a model for others who wants to be learnt from their models.

I love this goal: “Seeing the value in people different than us”
I think that different cultural backgrounds in graduate school at VT is the best opportunity for me to learn from other cultures. For example, if I wanted to learn 10 cultures, I need to go to 10 countries and live there for months, but graduate school has prepared the opportunity to learn them here in a small town for us.

I agree that the governments should decrease the expenses. But, they may not remove it. Because they need to pay to prepare better service. So, I guess something like entrance exam for the public universities may be a good solution.

I think that it is the responsibility of the teacher to attract the students even though they are mindless.
I believe that the instructors should try to communicate their students more and try to understand their personalities. Then, they may utilize more useful method of teaching.

I think that oral discussion among people is more effective than blogging. Because, in oral discussion they can show their perception and emotions, so it is helpful for better understanding than blogging.

I agree. I believe that we cannot apply connected learning for all majors. Connected learning may be an appropriate solution for some problems in current education systems but it is not necessary to be proper alternative for all education systems in all majors. Some majors (like your major) need to be learnt by custom method of learning. You can imagine that you may want to do a research in the laboratory, so how can connected learning help for this task?

Agreed. This question is fundamental question in my mind: “Do you think you can describe your research work to your family or other naïve people?”. Because I believe a good researcher should be able to explain and publish his/her research in mass media. He should present his research in a simple way to be understood for all people.

I have another suggestion. Your country can take an exam and select qualified student based on their grades. I additionally believe that private universities can be helpful in the society for the people who cannot get good grade in internal exam, what do you think?
