I agree with you. Particularly, the suggestion of giving feedbacks to faculty and staff members are pretty impressive to me. This is a great suggestion cause usually faculty members do not know exactly what his students feel about her teaching or some other aspects and do not know how to improve their teaching or advising. In this sense, feedbacks is pretty important.

I strongly agree with you. Definitely we need a mentor from the beginning of our graduate education. At the starting point of our graduate study sometimes we get frustrated and overwhelmed about how to proceed. For example, we can not decide how to choose a topic for our research, how to start working, how to collect the relevant information, how to choose the adviser or supervisor, committee etc. In that case, a mentor can be really a great help with some of his/her feedback/suggestions regarding the confusions.

Good ideas Azam, I totally agree, especially, giving feedback to the faculty and staff members. Feedback plays an important role in the improvement of teaching and professional skills. Using effective feedback, Faculty and staff will reach their destinations successfully. In fact, we need to enhance a supportive culture of feedback at colleges and universities.
