A Parent’s Responsibility

I wanted to start off with this quote from Maya Angelou because parents need to be reminded that they are their child’s first role model, whether they want to be or not. What they see you do, they will do. What they hear you say, they will say. How they see you treat others, they will do the same. Parents should always want the best for their child. They should want them to be well- rounded productive individuals. The process begins by teaching them at an early age to embrace and learn from others differences, because there is beauty and strength in us all.
