Overall, I really enjoyed the topic of this post – this is something that I really haven’t heard much about. The inspiration behind the Soviets’ writing various works around space have some mystery to it. It makes you wonder how these works influenced other nations around the world.

Reading this post was a great break from all of the others about the agricultural expansion that was taking place. The Soviet space program was way ahead of its time (obvious in the fact that they were the firsts to break out of the Earth’s atmosphere). The response on the part of the US was the most significant outcome of this event however.

This was a very interesting post! I think you should take a look at Jim’s blog where he talks about the same topic. It was rather interesting to reflect on the fact that the Soviets were expanding their agricultural market without the proper innovations to technology to accommodate it.

No wonder the process of De-Stalinization occurred; simply looking at the conditions that the Soviet people were put through were extreme. Most of which were innocent! Overall, great post – keep up the good work.

I really like the how you incorporate various films into your posts. This really bring the material to life and presents it in a way that is unique. I never knew about the child soldiers that were utilized – this was really shocking to me. Keep up the great work!
