i like your post. I definitely agreed with this statement “largest responsibilities that educators here have is to encourage, nurture, and require responsible consumption of information”. Professors need to embrace the the fact that students in todays society is somewhat technology dependent and that by honing that skill to more appropriate or creative uses within the classroom is very beneficial.

collaboration in the classroom is always beneficial. Professors need to be able to establish trust with students but this can be harder than one would expect. It is hard to keep focused in class when we are so used to interacting in the virtual world with our many devices. Using technology in the classroom to enhanced the course material is always the aim. I like your blog post.

wow. i like ur post. I love the part about multi-tasking and digital technology etiquette remaing a challenge between professors and students in the classroom. I totally agree, as a TA i don’t think many students have that etiquette at all.
