I like your post. We can know it is really up to the human being’s decision for how to use new technologies such as internet, computers or other digital tools. Of course, we need to admit that everyone has his weaknesses. Only if do people recognize yourself smartly, you can use some strategies to avoid the bad impacts (e.g. loss of concentration) of these model tools.

Putting practice in the class is a good way to apply the in-class knowledge to our real life. The practical way will make sense to understand the motivation of students’ learning. It will definitely help students be passionate for the learning. Also, it will be a tough job for teachers to come out these interesting materials. But what they done will be worthy of students’ performance.

Very interesting idea. We need to find the breakthrough idea based on the existing knowledge. The bank mode is still useful, and at the meantime, critical thinking for the existing knowledge can help students more creative. Student should be subject for the education but not the object, although we could be the object of some teaching experiment.
Including diversity is a good point for application essay but not necessarily. It really depends on what you want to do in your application. For example, if your advantage is very focusing on some special field, you just highlight your advantages which help reviewers to know your uniqueness.

Although your argument has some issues to sufficiently convince me, I generally agree with your last statement about the importance of diversity in the academic field. Whenever or wherever we live or stay, we should respect different opinions of others and try to understand them in a right attitude. Of course, sometimes you may totally disagree with some others, it is very common and highly distinguishing you from others.
Inclusive teaching would encourage students to engage into the classroom activities more compared with other teaching methods. Creating a discussion forum is a good way to allow students to express their ideas and opinions freely. Teachers could know the performance of students in a real meaningful way since they are spontaneous to say something. All information will be more honest and comprehensive.
I agree with your ideas. Even though you are a teacher, you should have your passion to be yourself when you are teaching.

Actually I am always thinking why i come to get a PhD program, even though I have some ideas before I joined the program. Learning is my intrinsic motivation to join the program. However, in the beginning of my program, when courses work come to me in an urgent schedule, I lost heart in learning more knowledge and exploring the essential ideas of each subject. I only focused on the final grades. As you said, i would not like me to take a risk in challenging myself and jeopardizing my grades. I felt that is not what I wanted and pursued in my program. Later on, I changed my strategies of learning and keeping my motivations always in my mind. Learning is not for a “A” grade. It is what we want to make something different from others or existing research.
