Both universities allude to many different aspects of the academic experience in their mission statements. What stands out to me about Princeton University is the emphasis on a level of education that is distinctive among the world’s great universities. While ETH Zurich acknowledges the highest state of knowledge and practical skills, the University’s aim of understanding ethical and cultural values and educating responsible members of society is very impressive.
