Nice post! I really like all the photos you included and I love the title. You did a good job of displaying the frustrations many women experienced after they fought so hard in the revolution and still came out lacking the rights they deserved.

Toxic masculinity ruins the party again! Was this the only political party that would accept women, or was this simply the worst? Either way, it really is a bummer to see how tolerated such behavior was and how toxic the environment was.

It is so typical that a group espousing equality for all would really only mean equality for half. While I’m sure that the reduced stigmatization of divorce did much to help Russian women, it doesn’t seem like many other changes were made.

I really liked your post and how you explored multiple different aspects. The comparison between the Red and White armies was especially interesting and really showed how different they were, and how much the differences allowed the Reds to win.

Great post, I think it’s important to look back and see how the youth especially were influenced and what they did based on this influence. The minds of the youth are often easily influenced, especially by those offering them better chances. I think another good comparison would be the the Hitler Youth.

I enjoyed reading your post. I was surprised how women were still insulted by trying to fit in with the men in the Komsomol. It was a shame how women were unable to express themselves, and no matter what they did it was shut down by men.

It’s interesting how even with the combined support of the world’s capitalist democratic nations the White army was still effectively crushed. They had many advantages including a nationalist drive, but they were not ready to press the advantage due to their lack of military leadership. This last civil war was the last step in the dying Russian regime to total Soviet dominion, and its passing would enable socialism/communism to spread for the rest of the century. Great post.
