Nice point of view considering college towns as the gateway of the student path of life. However, it has some exceptions, as these towns can be homes for faculty and staff and also students starting college in big cities might not event need a gateway.

Personally, “do it with them, not for them!” resonated most with me. Many of them I obviously could not interpret–wish I spoke all the languages of the world (anyone remember that ‘Teenage Robot’ episode?)
As a tutor to students and facilitator of many experiential learning activities, this is something I have to remind myself of ALL the time. Students can’t truly learn if I do not allow them to take the lead.
It is SO cool how you all tied everything in together. The bridge pyramid–creative! Furthermore, your selection of the terms that leave to critical pedagogy are insightful.

You guys did a great job! I personally am not very artistically-inclined, and it’s not because I have poor drawing skills. I can definitely put together a dope Power Point graphic, and I get really into it.
I hate to point out any image in particular, but I really like the continuous switching from S to T in Patrick’s graphic!
