I think sometimes memorization can be useful. It has been extremely useful for me to memorize certain abstract theoretical models that can mapped onto reality or real world particular circumstances, conditions, etc.

I agree with some of your points. The worst feedback is the kind that gives you no direction.
This is extremely important: we must always be weary of who is excluded, even from modes of supposed inclusion.

Yes, we all need to focus on our biases. I like to focus on initial impressions I have of people, and try to disprove what I find repulsive.
I remember when I taught my first class. I thought I die of a heart attack I was so anxious all the time about the class, what students thought, etc. It’s good to share.
