Yes, as you mentioned, it may be very difficult to implement it but that would great if it is possible. For example, We have lots of similar needs and problems in the construction industry all over the world. I think they would be solved if the researchers and universities cooperate with each other in researching instead of separate and limited scope research; the results would be perfect (However, it may never happen :D).

Interesting post! I like your idea about globalizing higher education. I think this will broaden Ph.D. students’ knowledge about different parts of the world, and will create more opportunities for them. However, I am not sure whether it is practical or not, especially for research based universities. Since most of the research studies in a country are based on their own needs and their own economic systems. All in all, I think it is really important to at least have some idea about the education system all around the world.
