Hi Carlos. Thanks for your comment. Human beings are prone to adapting to present situation. A light of hope that we are witnessing is the rise of open source projects. I believe that the open source movement will, slowly and steadily, change academia and eventually lead to more “co-operation” than “defection”. Some fields will readily adapt the open source movement than others. Thoughts?
