Thanks for your comment Mohammed! I appreciate the comment… I think the middle ground is always the perfect solution in situations like these. Some video, along with real-time discussions, and creative ways to get our students interested. I am a firm believer that sometimes people miss the big picture… Some teachers don’t tell their students what’s so powerful and can be done with the knowledge they’re learning. However, once you show them end products, that they the students can do when they’re done with the course… and you motivate their interests, I believe a lot of students will pursue further knowledge on their own! :)Thanks for the comment!

Thanks for your comment Gary!That sounds wonderful. I enjoyed giving middle and high school students tours of our lab, and showing them cool aspects of what we did. That’s something to consider. If you tell people what they can accomplish through a field, it’s really inspiring, especially if you show them great results! Thanks for the comment.
