It was a very intersting post. I think you are right, the
lower the percentage of the minorities (including women) in a discipline, the less responsive the professors to the minorities are. So, the whole community should care about women and education of women in STEM to see a change in the number of female students in these disciplines and eventually once the women got enough confident we will see the change in future plots.

MOOCs with all benifits has raised some negative feedback of the teachers, instructors and professors. For example tsome have this concern that top professors from elite universities replace the lectures by faculty members at other universities and harm them with low pay and finally lead them to be teaching assistant for the online professors.
