I think MOOCs can not replace the teachers. Students need close contact and direct feedback from teachers. MOOCs in assistance to teachers can be effective.

Diversity always help us to develop stronger skills by sharing the ideas, culture, experiences. It helps to be more creative and learn from people of different walks of life.

MOOCs with all benifits has raised some negative feedback of the teachers, instructors and professors. For example tsome have this concern that top professors from elite universities replace the lectures by faculty members at other universities and harm them with low pay and finally lead them to be teaching assistant for the online professors.
