Thanks for your post and invaluable information and facts.
I personally love this verse of Quran: “Verily, the most honored of you in the sight of Allah (god) is he who is most righteous of you.” I believe that the righteous is main key for racism’s problem.

Comment on The numbers say I am racist by Mohammad
Thanks for your idea nad interesting post.
I think that we cannot claim that these numbers show our direction to bias. For example, a religious person may select an option that indicates he/she has a strong attitude to his/her religion. But it does not mean that he/she does not respect to other religions. Particularly, some religions suggest their followers to respect others’rights. So, I personally believe that these type of surveys should be evaluated before general usages.
Comment on What students want from teachers by Mohammad
Hi
Based on my experience, these are the most important factors for the students:
1-To challenge them to think
2-To nurture their self-respect
They need to feel free to talk and imagine. So these factors should be considered by teachers significantly.
Comment on The Student-Centered Lecture by Mohammad
I actually love this method “student-centered lecture”. I believe that if we can involve the students in our lectures, it works better for them to learn more and more. But, we should be careful to manage the time of class because some students may be talkative.
Comment on What are these “note” things anyway? by Mohammad
In one of my course, I remember that the instructor considered some blanks in her slides and then show the students when she wanted to talk about it. I think that this way may be helpful to involve the students in the course more while they are using their own laptops during the class.
Comment on Game Over – Please Play Again by Mohammad
I used an interactive game to motivate the students to watch a video related to the topic. I used kahoot.it and every student could participate in the game by the cell phone, laptop or tablet. They need to answer the questions on the screen by their devices. After each question, they could see their ranks in the class and I gave the three gifts to students those were three winners. After the game, I asked the students about the game all of them were happy because they involved in an interactive game related to the topic. I asked the winner and he told me that he watched the video and answered the questions. So I think that this method could motivate the students to watch the video carefully.

Comment on Are Exams The Only Way of Assessing Students? by Mohammad
I agree. The exams are very stressful. We may find other methods for evaluations. For example, we may design some projects and ask the students to form their own groups to perform their projects. It helped them to learn how they can work in a group as well as decrease their level of stress because other students may help to solve the problems.
Comment on My Experiences About Assessment by Mohammad
I agree with you “Assessment should be used to motivate students to study”.
I think that the instructors can motivate the students. So we need to design a good assessment for each class and introduce it to the students i9n the beginning of the class.
Comment on Iran Education system needs a huge reform-2 by Mohammad
I do not like the stigma (regime, fiendish) for my country. You may have your own opinions and I respect them. But if any person wants to insult other countries and cultures, I believe that it is very far from humanities. My religion and my culture taught us to respect others and stand for our rights!
